The Altos R520 is designed for SMB customers looking for a scalable 1RU rack-optimized server designed to perform performance-heavy storage tasks in areas like: File server, Web or e-mail server, Database and High-performance clustering.
The Altos R520 delivers support for industry-leading eight SAS/SATA small form factor hard disk drives, and up to two Quad-Core or Dual Core Intel® Xeon® processors in a space-optimized 1U footprint. Featuring integrated multi-level RAID support and a high-efficiency 650W power supply with optional redundancy, the Altos R520 ensures maximum data availability while keeping server running costs to a minimum.
